Well this weekend a friend of mine called me up and asked if I wanted to go to Minneapolis MetalFest for free. And although Metal is not my main thing I said what the hell. So as it turns out him, two other friends, and me all got on the guest list for Suffocation.
We hung out with the Suffo on their tour bus for an hour before the show and ate ribs with them. And there was much rejoicing. Suffocation put on a great show, Morbid Angel put on a pretty good show, and I watched several power metal bands on the second stage just because I think they are hillarious. I was trying not to laugh at them (cuz I was one of about 6 people watching the band), but eventually I couldn't stop myself and had to walk away. Later.... hung out with Suffocation a little longer and then had pizza.... a good day all in all. ROK
