lately ive really gotten into watching a cartoon called steven universe the creative baby of the amazing rebecca sugar.
I first started watching it because of my little Emitot and first it was dismissed as the usually drivel produced to entertain the masses but underneath the cover of pretty pastels and simple animation is some seriously dark and twisted (not to mention lesbian) themes
I am smitten by this ass kickin girl power crystal encrusted space opera that comes in little 11 minute episodes that are cleverly played out of order to suck you in to the world of steven and his alien gem aunts.
If you are a fan of adventure time quirkyness and humor, the adventure and challenges of card capture sakura, hardcore fusion and ass kicking in dragon ball z the girl power of sailor moon and the overwhelming dispair of dead mothers from evangelion this is for you!!!
