I suck. yeah. I understand that. most of the time I deal with it pretty well. but sometimes, i can't work my way around it very quickly and get bummed out pretty hard. Analyzing stuff, which is what I do too much of, gets me in trouble alot. But it may be lately I am expecting more than I should from myself. I've liked the stance of pessimism in the past. Specifically with me, not expecting anything or much good, but at the same time hoping and striving for good, then if it doesn't happen, eh, whatever, but if it does, yay and some extra yay even. It's the littlest things sometimes too that do it, that hurt so much or i let cause that hurt. Fucking hell. Life is so bothersome sometimes.
Ahaha. I just talked to AJ. I told her how I was bummed and things sucked and I suck and blah blah and why and junk. And you know what she said? Stop whining. Focus on other things I need to be doing. Haha. She's so smart. Sometimes its the littlest things that help too. Just to hear the obvious from someone who cares is nice. AJ is such a good friend.
Patience is a fucking virtue. Man, do I struggle with that. Although it's been smacking me in the face lately with everything I do. I'm getting better.
Autocross school was super fun. I'm registered for the next summer series event in the springs for this Sunday.
Highlander games was a blast. I did much better than I did the first time. I still sucked overall, but much improved nonetheless. I scratched only once this time and didn't fall down at all. First time I fell three times and scratched like five or six. Jason, Amy, Skott and his friend, and Hugo and some of his friends were there too. I really appreciated them stopping by to see me throw a few. Skott took a few pics, so hoepfully I'll get one or two of those up here soon. I already have the video he shot of me doing the weight for height, but I need to figure out how to rotate the video first before I post it. I just registered for the snowmass village games on teh 23rd. Plus one of the competitors I see there each time meets up with some friends periodically to practice this stuff near arvada. So I'm looking forward to that too. I'm so into this.
I love it. Annnd, I get to wear a skirt. It's a win win.
Oh, and would anyone consider traveling with me to Rio Rancho (7.5hrs away) on the 21st of October. I'm considering going to that game and on November 4th the one in Tucson, AZ (15hrs away).
My favorite food has got to be pizza. I fucking love pizza. pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza. You know, when I was little-er, I thought pizza was the italian way to spell pitza. And most know I don't eat sweets. Well, let me tell you. I had ecstacy the other day. Well, not the drug, x, molly, MDMA 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, whatever, yeah I don't even know what that is. But I had Starbucks mud pie a few weeks ago. oooooohhh - mmyyyyyyyy. I need to stay away from that. mhmm.
*****EDIT: I figured out how to rotate the video and I just put it on myspace. Soooo, if you want to see me in a kilt throwing a heavy weight over a bar, go to my myspace and check it out.
Thanks Skott.
