Birthday sucked as usual. Mom forgot my last birthday and this one too. Made me a little sad. She finally called me yesterday and left me a messege, but I called her back today and she didn't mention it. Just complained about some stuff going on around her. She seemed a bit stressed, so I tried to comfort her and then she had to go. eh. Best two things to happen was Sidney left me a messege on my phone singing happy birthday. She calls me spaghetti. I really like that. And my sister called me at 5am to say happy bday. You'd have to know me pretty well to know that that was cool. As I get older I want less and less to celebrate my birthday and more and more to help others celebrate theirs. Actually I like celebrating un-birthdays alot. Haven't done that in a while. Since Pittsburgh I guess.
Jason is pretty cool, but can be such a jackass, geesh.
Dana's party was fun. glad to see alot of people out. Yay for that.

registered for the highlander games at estes park on Sept 10th, and the Soloracing (autocross) event at DIA on Aug 26th. trying to get Misty to help me with finding out my scottish/irish background so I can get the right color kilt.
Best bday presents - travel gift certificate from Kimmus and fam, I'll be using that to visit them over thanksgiving. step 2/3 of v, yay. and a gift to myself - a stereo and speakers for me car (which I put in). Now I just need music. I need to set up a music swap soon.
Thursday was a great time with Rick and Megze and Dan. Two fisted Marios is an awesome place for pizza. Went there again on Sat. Went shopping sat with Amber. nice. I may have to go back to get this track jacket thing. Earl of Sandwich is good food.
I don't know, I'm pretty happy right now I guess. Trying to get some photos taken of me and develop a portfolio. I really don't know what I will do with it, but it seems fun. Suicide boys seems lame, but maybe I can put together a nice portfolio and do a modelmayhem thing. Hell I don't know.
Sometimes I get bored of my job. It's helps knowing that I'm getting a PhD out of it and that I'll be getting decent money when I finally finish. I mean, I just saw flyer for a research tech job and thought, I can do all that. It paid 40,000/yr. So after I'm outof here and do a post doc, I should be abfab for money. I don't really care so much as long as I don't have to worry about bills. Thats the big thing. I'm pretty fruggle as it is and I'm doing ok for as little as I earn. I thought it was really cool that Megze knew what neuroethology was. She rocks. That's what I will prolly get into after this.
Eyeball Dan called me today to go golfing. Since I had so much to do for work and should have already been in there, I decided... why not. We played two holes and on the second green as I held the flag and Ryan (eyeball's friend) putted, no more than fifty yds away a lightning bolt hit the ground and we all jumped alittle, I dropped the flag and we thought, maybe we should head back. As we walked to the cart deciding, another lightning bolt about 30 yds away in the other direction hit right on the course in the adjacent fairway. That was pretty bad ass. We decided to ride the cart back and wait for another day. We ended up going bowling and I actually knocked down a few strikes. dig it. 171,180,165.
I like driving my car at night with the stereo blasting going down the highway. Going nowhere, just driving. It helps me chill and think about stuff I guess. Spending more on gas now, but it's worth it.
Found some good possibilities for what andy had last weekend. Even know someone with a cabin an hour or two away. I hope that works out soon.
