So long update. Let's see....

eyeball dan invited me over to his house for ethiopian food for lunch after we had biked around denver in the morning. It was awesome. Biking in Denver that is. Along the cherry creek trails. Bad ass I tell you. I need to do that more often. I may even try to take seneca down there. That would e nice for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Well the ethiopian food kinda sucked. It was ok I guess, but I wouldn't get it again on my own or suggest it really. I like trying new stuff once in a while I guess, but I don't care too much for food. Especially going out to eat. too expensive and time consuming. I like eyeball dan. He's a cool cat. He mentinoed that I was like his little brother in a way. I think he was pretty much joking or whatever but it is kinda like that. He dropped me and my bike off at my house afterwords and he suggested hacking a little. I got a drink and felt comfortable enough to let him drink right out of my water bottle. That's weird. I don't like people doing that. But I offered. Realized what I was doing afterwards. funny. I hope we keep doing stuff more often. although with his family and job its tough. Good friendship. Good times.

Something I do every day is say goodbye to Seneca before I leave the apartment. IfI forget I will go back. Even if I am already in my car. hmm. Seneca means more to me than anything. any person any place and anything. I am going home in late may and need to take Seneca to camp for a few days and/or find someone to watch her while I'm gone. I've asked Anjalee to check on her once during the day, since she will be only a half mile away and could easily take her out to pee once during the day. She told me she wouldn't be able to do it. That sucks. AJ knows how much Seneca means to me and still she is unwilling to take a few minutes out of her day to check on her. She's told em this before too. AJ's my best friend and all, but man... that kinda hurts. Oh well. I'll find someone else to watch her or if not I can just pay a little extra to have her at camp the whole time I'm gone. no biggy.

So right eyeball dan and his wife were talking about setting me up with one of her friends. Also Dan later was telling me I needed laid. And I told him I just didn't take the effort to seek it out, which he thought I should be doing. I thought of an analogy the other night that helps descibe kinda what I am like which is lack of effort so that I can concentrate on what makes me happy and spend time doing things that make me happy and then maybe someone will come along. Well It's kinda like a business that doesn't do cold calling or even leads. There's the lasck of effort. And they don't even advertise elsewhere. I don't go out looking. The business only takes on people who come to them. Sorta like me waiting. If not, then I'll be fine having fun and being happy doing other stuff.

Got that ticket back in the mail with a letter and it said they concluded that it wasn't me and I don't owe them anything. yay! Also got my comments back for my grant proposal to NIH. They couldn't stop complimenting me. Holy crap did I feel good after reading that. It was like they kept saying "he is kind and good and wonderful at everything he does". Oh my... they like me they really really like me!! Well, not enough to give me the freaking money. The problems mainly lie in a few fixer ups with the application, descfribing the training and program and long term funding. They didn't say anything about the grant proposal itself. Except that it was good. Hmm. Well, resubmit it in August. Better luck then.

Saw Brick Sunday night with AJ. It was really good. I think I need to look up some of those old 40's detective movies and see if I like those. Anjalee and I will probably go see it again this weekend. We talked about it for a good half hour after we left. It got better the more we understood it. I like analyzing movies usually. Usually AJ and I don't discuss them much. She doesnt do that, but with this one we did alot. It was great. My fav movies right now are good,bad,ugly, once upon a time in the west, the incredibles, and I can't really commit to any others in my top five. We'll see after this weekend if Brick breaks in there.
