apparently I've become designated makeout person or something as tonight we all got inebriated and I was dubbed "in charge" of making out with maggie. she unfortunately got a little too drunk and proceded instead to make out with the toilet. I also had a good heart to heart with dame emily about all of the quasi-weirdness between us since that time we almost-but-not-quite dated, and I feel things will be much less awkward there now.

I picked up As the Eternal Cowboy with some of my christmas dough and am finding it to be much to my liking, despite not being quite what i expected. the last song in particular strikes a chord.

in side note, I purchased Brown Sugar today for Katie's birthday. She was EXTREMELY pleased and laughed quite a bit upon unwrapping it, despite what certain nay-sayers may have said in store when I picked it up. *nyah*
