There are times when one rediscovers that there specific triggers to one's subconscious. Certain emotions, concepts or images which may resonate with an individual, twisting the very fabric of their soul and mind. Perhaps we are creatures of pasts forgotten, or simply an irrational beings which simply dangle between states of agony and ecstasy. Perhaps we have dreams which lay resting in the backs of our mind, waiting for the right moment to test our resolve in dealing with our daily lives.
I see myself walking out of a burning building, fearless and strong. I see myself staring squarely in the eyes of my assassin, smiling defiantly and taking away his satisfaction. I look at my fellow brethren grow more powerful, shaking off the remnants of the fragile human form.
It really is odd. I have almost never felt weaker before, yet I have never been stronger. There are times that I know change is coming... either my complete and utter demise or ascension to greatness.
Perhaps a toast to inspiration and never ending dreams would be appropriate. That is what changes our immortal selves into the Gods that we are.
