Well, I'm going to Vancouver this weekend for sure. I'm very excited to be seeing Paul again, as he's a great person to be around, as well as a good friend to me. What's more, he knows his way around Vancouver, so he'll be able to keep me in check. Hah. I need that sort of help.
In other news, UBC is lookin' good, so I'm excited about going there. But, alas, I've been feeling sick lately.
And I don't know... if I don't get better, I may not get to go to school. It may sound like I'm overreacting, but I'm actually very ill, so anything I do depends on my health.
But I'm going to Vancouver this weekend even if it kills me. But it won't, in fact, it will probably make me feel better. I like Vancouver. It sounds stupid, because I grew up on a ten-acre forested property, but I love the city. I must be terrible for thinking that, because I should appreciate the luxury I grew up with, but cities are FUN!
Besides, no good bands ever play the local church basement out here in the farmland... I have to go to the "city" (that is, Victoria) to see a joke of a musical performance. Once I move to Vancouver, however, this will be all different.
