The following is a letter I wrote a friend upon being sad. I will post it here because the creeps are not here, and y'all may be able to provide some insight.

I'm writing you because you are my friend. But also probably because I have been drinking and because I am sad. I would call you, but I don't feel like it. Besides, I...

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but that movie does have LOTS of great lines in it. Granted, you have to use them one at a time for them to work, but they're funny none the less. wink

i hope you hear from him soon too... and i hope your spirits get a lift.

Okay, actually my day was uneventful. I got up, and I went to the bank and the doctor. That was all good. My blood test results were in and everything (surprise, surprise) was normal, meaning they stole my life's essence for no reason. And they still have yet to figure out what's causing my kidney pain. I went to school then, and worked on my...

Who in Victoria wants to give me a summer job?

I have references and a resume and all that shit, and I'll do anything but work in Fast Food. Seriously.

oh yeah, if you're serious about being a wannabe SG, then you should join the SG Hopefuls group. you'll get valuable advice and, if you post your set there, constructively critical comments.
malloreigh:
no, man. i totally wasn't. but you should have shot the girl that looked like me in the fasce, because i am the only one!

p.s. you should go for bubble tea with me once i have enough money to buy some!

Weeks go by like days
I don't feel the passing of time
as i'm sitting by the phone
willing it to ring
but willpower can not overcome some things

like the time you fucked me
and it was good, too
and we laughed afterwards
because our cardboard walls had been
torn down

or like the time we cooked
and the smell of salt
or something...

I see this list of past entries growing and growing. It's really just some kind of symbol for all the time I'm wasting looking at Suicide Girls, I think.

Well my comment to yon-not-getting-over-the-past person really put him in his place. I have yet to hear a reply from him, and usually he's very quick on the uptake, living only 5m away from his computer....

Some shit went down with 2 guys and a girl I know about two months ago. I haven't talked to them since, but wouldn't you know it, they're still not over it. I'm honestly getting fed up. They should just stop posting in their journals and on their websites about me.

The past is the past, they have nothing more to do with me, nor...

I was joking around with my dad and I told him that I was going to become a Rebel Spell groupie, and spend every night at the Cobalt. He thought this meant that I was going to join a punk-rock cult and not devote any of my time at UBC to learning. He also thought I would get raped and murdered by punk rock boys....

I just finished watching Breakfast at Tiffany's for probably the millionth time. It was the first time, however, that my father had seen it. He got really grouchy halfway though, though, and threw a bag of chips at me.

He said I'm a lot like Holly Golightly, which I doubt. But if given the chance, I would give up everything I own to star as...

Well I managed to get my dumb essay done. And that's all I'm saying about that.

I'm really glad school i s winding up. We finished the last four poems of the Lit. curriculum today, so now I don't *really* have to go to any more classes. Haha. I also got my mock provincial marks back for English and I did rather well.

I had...

I have to write an essay tonight. I've written three essays today in school already. I really don't wanna do it.

Does anyone want to write a Lit 12 essay about poets achieving immortality through death?

Anyone??
friedbanana105:
i don't want to write it, but i hope you mention Dante... or am i missing the point?

p.s. ok, i understand where you're at now. school here and then UBC in the fall... i wish i could point you to a fake ID! i have a buddy who is in to all of that -- i'll see if he can provide info for you. smile

I registered for my UBC courses today. Ay Carumba, it's difficult to do. In any case, I've had to drop both Acting AND Poli Sci in order to take First Nations studies, but since I did all that, I can get my degree in what I want.

Does anyone in Vic. know where to get fake ids? Email me plain_ol_jane@hotmail.com to tell me where... because...

you do have to be 19 to go to the show, because it's at a bar. i don't know what's up for the afterparty (lemonkid said he was having one, but is there something official?) but if it's not at a bar, i believe everyone is welcome.

hopefully i'll be able to get into the show, considering i'm working there, but i'm not nineteen til august.

this weekend i'm going to be continuing the job hunt (as with the rest of this week and next week as well) and might be meeting up with some other people from this city, but otherwise i think i'm free. drop me an email. (i'm afraid of the phone.)

XD holy shit, you're still in high school. that's rad. i don't think i know of anyone else on this site who's still in high school. i didn't turn eighteen til i was a couple of months out.

I have decided that my house is built upon some otherworldly vortex causing things in it to become utterly and terribly lost. Forever. For instance, my wallet disappeared a month or two ago. My group therapy folder is the most recent disparu, following a money order for almost $90. Before that it was a panda I'd had for over 3 years. And a guinea pig.....

hey there, welcome to the site. your profile says Vancouver, but i noticed your comment in audioofambor's journal says you live in Victoria...? confused

you mentioned local get-togethers. well, we usually have them once a month over here, and even more often in Vancouver, if that's where you are. you should apply to the SGCanWest group, since that's where the events are usually planned/announced. fyi, the next SGVic event is the SG Burlesque show and after-party.

i hope you enjoy yourself on SG; it's a fantastic community... oh, and good luck with the vortex... tongue

i stumbled on it today, actually! before i read this comment, that is -- so i didn't notice the lip service stuff (although i did notice a connected store). tongue i so stupid.
