8 days and counting to the end of the month. What will happen? Business has picked up some in the store. Hitting our first level sales goal seems possible. If that happens my boss keeps his job. If not they either bring someone else in or let me run it as an acting for several months to see if I can prove myself, blah. The big question is if offered do I take a promotion for a store that has been on a downward trend over the last few years. I mean the raise would be nice and all, but the headache that comes with it.

The last week or so has been pretty good though. Spending time with my wonderful girl. Had a few friends stop by over the weekend. Her mom is coming up this weekend. I have a lot of cleaning to do around the house before that happens. You know dust those places you never think about until company comes over.

He-he the gerbil I have is trying to tunnel through the plastic cage it is so funny. I keep hearing this persistent scratching noise. He is so cool though. His name is Blondie, and it takes him a bit to figure stuff out. Like the first 2 weeks we had him he would not use the observation tower in his cage. He would go up only a little and then back out. Know up and down. We got him a little ball the other day and that he has not figured out just yet. He just sits in it looking around and sniffing.
