Benjamin kept his mommy up most of the night and then around 3:30 a.m. she said it was my turn. Finally got him down so now I think I might as well get ready for work. I'm trying to decide what time to go in. I might shoot for 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. Seems like the thing to do. The little tyke has to go to the doctors this morning. Nothing wrong they just want to see him and see how he is doing. The little guy does have the worst diaper rash I have ever seen so far on a baby, but that could change. He is just under two weeks old.
His brother Alexander is doing all right. He is still at UVA being treated for Transposition of the Greater Arteries. Right now he has a great deal of fluid build up so he cannot have the surgery to fix it. The doctors have him on Dialysis to drain the excess fluid and it is helping some. Still a long road ahead of all of us.
Well, I am off to get ready for work. Scratch that. I'm taking Melissa and Benjamin to the doctors. Ride could not make it, and Melissa is not allowed to drive until after saturday. No driving for her for two weeks after the operation they said. And no nookie for 6 weeks.
