I wanted to write something, but I am not really sure what I am going to say. I am sitting downstairs on the couch and I just heard Melissa laugh. It does bring a tear of joy to my heart to hear her laugh. One of the cats must be trying to dig under the covers. I love those damn cats. They have been really attentive lately. Animals are such a great joy when there is so much sadness in your heart.

On friday we went to the hospital. It is a good thing too. Melissa's body was starting to really cramp up. I don't think we would have made it trough the weekend. We are both just so numb. I want to rage against the world.

So much needs to be done around the house and I just can not motivate myself to do any of it. I go back to work tomorrow. I need to get back to my routine, but at the same time I just don't want to do it. I will, but that means leaving Melissa home alone. Hopefully she will find something to keep her busy. God I am reading this as I type and I am just rambling.

Her mother was up for friday, and they stayed thru saturday. Her father is coming up today. All of our friends have been very kind and supportive. Everybody wants to bring food when tragedy strikes. I find it kind of funny.

I've got nothing else so I hope everyone is doing well.
