Wow been so long since my last update! sorry guys...again.
Well, steve is back from egypt and after some initial marital bizarreness when he returned things here are pretty damn good these days (fingers crossed, touch wood, etc etc)
so I finally got my first tattoo! my tattoo cherry was taken by Ben at Modern Body Art in Brum and this is the result:
Sorry the picture is a bit crappy but you get the idea. It's just at the top of my spine. I know iit's not much but we all got to start somewhere and I love it!! I went with 2 mates one of whom got done after me and we were quite loud and generally lairy to bolster spirits whilst being inked. Ben was amused to find out we were teachers (he was obviously still labouring under the impression that all teachers are over 40, wear tweed and smell of stale coffee and cigarette smoke . he also managed to guess what subjects 2 of us taught which i thought was very perceptive.). The only problem now is I just want MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also got some new specs!!! Oh my God I love them. I have not worn my contact lenses since I got them on Tuesday and I keep getting compliments form kids at work on how nice I'm looking (go figure!!). here they are:

Tickets to see Little Britain at the Hammersmith Apollo in London tonight
Swanky overnight accomodation in London
and tickets to the MPH motor show with Jeremy Clarkson at Earls Court tomorrow!!
For my non UK friends this may not mean much but put it this way - we are in for a totally top weekend and I'm sooooo excited!! Kids going to inlaws. It's gonna be amazing.
Speaking of which we are leaving to take kids in less than 2 hours and I'm not packed yet so I better skidaddle!
