The fact that the pope rides around in a bullet proof cage is complete bullshit...if you have such little faith in your God then you should not be pope...you should trust in your God or you should go home...

I have always thought of the pope mobile as more of a barrier from all the bacteria that can be transmitted through the air from all of the crows of people he is being moves through. The chances of him being shot are less likely than the chances of him getting very ill from all the contact with the crowds. At least that is what I have always thought.


Even the president has hand sanitizer with him for after he is through shaking hands all day.
