I love The Wedding Singer! I think that movie is where my obsession with the 80s started. It was the first movie I ever saw on a date. I actually saw it in the theater like 4 or 5 times. I'm sitting at home all alone and decided to pop it in, just because. The song at the end always makes me cry, every time I watch it. Never fail.
So, ClownPrinceOPorn is in Indy at Gencon. He is there until sunday night. The only thing that sucks about that is that I lost my cell phone when we went to Columbus for our anniversary and I have no way of talking to him unless he is on AIM on his phone or I am at work. We've been living together, basically, for the entire duration of our relationship (he is the best fungus I've ever caught!) and this is the first time i've ever been away from him for more than a day. Donno what to do with myself.
I went out with my Maid Of Honor and my friend Rob (who is going to be the officiant at the wedding. He is going to marry us dressed at Darth Vader, he is almost more excited about it than I am) to open my first wedding registry at Macy's. The lady that helped me was SO nice and helpful! Registering for wedding and bridal shower gifts kinda made it all seem real to me. I am so happy! I feel like I am kinda going overboard with the items tho... I registered for a 400 dollar calpholon set and a 250 dollar green stand up mixer with a ton of attachments like an ice cream maker, and a Dyson.... I'll register for cheaper stuff at Target I guess.
My friends convinced me not to worry about prices because you never realize what people will actually buy you for your wedding. I didn't get to register for bedding, I LOVE BEDDING! The lady that was helping me said not to register for it until about 6 weeks before my Bridal Shower. I donno when that is going to be. I don't know when you are supposed to throw it.
Oh, the song is coming up.....Here come the tears. Am I weird for wanting that song to be the song ClownPrinceOPorn and I dance to at the wedding? He made a joke that our wedding song is going to be an Adam Sandler song. BUT IT MAKES ME CRY EVERY TIME! I guess I'll think of other songs that would do. I really like Truly by Lionel Richie, but that was my mom's wedding song and that marriage didn't turn out so well....
Ok... Time to put in 10 Things I Hate About You. I'm such a nerd! Health Ledger is so hot! I can't wait for the next Batman movie!
