I recommend everyone who can appreciate a touch of retro cheese should go out and buy it today! My best mate and I have indulged in almost a whole day of it today. My singing voice is far better than expected. You must remember that I was thrown out of the choir at junior school and always cast as the little kid who couldn't sing but God still loved her. That was when I was part of the god squad you see. Hallelujah, Praise jesus, tambourines and all of that.
If only my pastor could see me now. 
Another sound investment is an eye toy. Haven't had such a work out in a long time. Good fun though so I may rethink my musings of joining a gym and just have a session on the PS2 every day. Much more fun, no stunning beauties next to me looking fresh faced after a work out whilst I sweat half my body weight away and take about three days for the blood to drain from my face.
Just thirteen days until Xmas and I only did my shopping yesterday! How unorganised am I? Did manage to get everything I wanted for the people I buy for. My family just seems to be growing at the moment though. There's my immediate family. Now a sister in law. a girlfriend, my best mate, her family and my other best mate. Too many people but luckily we've all agreed to keep it on the cheap this year as we all have slowly expanding families.
Luckily no children in our immediate family yet or my Mum may get that brooding look in her eye and wondering aloud when I'm gonna settle down. Bless her, she does live in hope.

Anyway, what 'grown-up' pursuits are you thinking of doing in the new year? I only ask because I recognize your predicament.
The trip sounds like it'll be fun. Will you be on the piste (no pun intended) as well? Or are you just going to watch while your mate impresses his sponsors?
