So things went well! I got an 84 on the placement test which apparently was the highest of the people I was standing in line with. My craft brain kicked in hard for the applied mathematics section. I got 100 in geometry thanks to it 
. My classes start in March, and I made a couple new friends in the orientation. This was all totally worth it too because I got my enchiladas verde afterward! Man, I was craving that hard!
I'm probably gonna work on the octopus right after this. I'm excited for how it's turning out! It has tentacles now, but I don't have a picture of that yet. Here's a couple pictures of the hat part though!
I'm writing general notes of what I'm doing as I got along so if feed back is good, I might make more for the shop

It was hard to get a good picture of the front so I'll tell ya... it's just like a flat fauxhawk cause I don't have the awesome gel I used to use when I had a standy uppy fauxhawk. And now for some fun...

it looks great on my hd tv though
unfortunately hd hasn't reached it's perfection yet. certain tracking shots just let the technology down and it's very depressing when you've spent lots of money on it
i shall reserve my judgement on whether lucas should stop or not until after i have seen the first season of the live action tv show... and if i see one episode of that with jar jar in then all my rather expensive tv equipment might get thrown out of the window in a fit of rage
