So I won't be going back to Michigan for another couple of weeks. Grandma doesn't wanna have the memorial service until May, but I really don't want to wait that long before going back. I stayed home from work yesterday and was there for a little over half a day today. My boss was out sick, but her mom (who also works there) was there and she was super awesome and gave me lots of hugs.

I feel like such a weight has been lifted. Like I don't have to worry anymore. I shook really hard when I initially called my mom after seeing she left me a message. I knew though. I woke up, and I knew. My heart sank, the flood gates prepared to open, and I called Mom just to be sure. Gish was sitting right next to me, and he stayed home for an extra hour just to help calm me down. But as I said, a huge weight... gone. I feel a lot more relaxed, and I think I'm still a little too in shock.

I've been crocheting again...

School bus scarf made from someone else's pattern. My friend Kurtis told me I should make a Nekobasu scarf. I'm totally going to now.



Was intended to be Remi from Ratatouille (for Gish, our first date was seeing that movie), but the pattern was shitty so I scratched the head. He stills loves it .

And here are some random berries I saw. I just liked the colors and the way the light bounced off them.
