So, now my employer is fucking over several of our young student workers. OK, so Im used to corporate America hating on the little guy. Im old enough and experienced enough to know that pretty much every workplace has its politics. And yeah, to some extend you have to put up with some sit to get by. But, at some point, the powers that be can go way too far.
When you assure people they will have a job with 30+ hours a week and then it turns out to be a complete lie, what sort of ethics is that showing?
The big wig, decision makers often dont care at all about what they do to affect the lives of others. I mean, some of these kids have rent to pay and are now finding themselves in desperate situations. Its fucked up, period!
What makes it even more sickening is that these kids pay the salary of the assholes that are screwing them as that the job is at a college.
Im so over this shit. I need a new job and Im going to do whatever it takes to get out of that hell hole.
