Ohmyfuckingod. I'm exhausted.
I don't know where my energy goes these days... maybe it's the alcohol.
My very special house guest left today, and is probably on her way to the airport as I type this. I suppose I can now spill the beans that my lovely Vanessa was here. I made a lovely little den for her, and she played with my puppies.
Hopefully pictures are soon to follow, but here's a breakdown of our weekend....
Thursday
-Vanessa arrived later in the evening. I was at work, so I didn't pick her up. But her friend Mei and her brother did. When I got home I woke her up and got lots of hugs and "I love you!"'s
Friday
-Friday afternoon is about the time the two of us rolled out of bed. Vanessa wanted to go shopping, and mentioned the Red Light, so we hit up the Portland local favorite shop.
-Then we went to Cup and Saucer for breakfast/lunch. And we proceeded to eat our weight in food. Yum!
-Lovely Miss Ajilee met up with us, and we filmed a little video. (hopefully to be posted later)
-Then the three of us went to the crappiest tattoo shop in Portland, Sea Tramp, and got bro-tats. Yup, bro-tats. I didn't bring my camera for any of these functions, so I'm purely relying on the fact that Ajilee and Vanessa will post them, so I don't look like I just made the whole thing up.
-After that, Vanessa, her brother, Mei and my boy all went out to sushi together at Saburo in Milwaukie. Fucking HUGE rolls. I tried two new kinds of sushi... one was a Amaebi (sweet shrimp, which I threw up immediately because it's gelatin shrimp.. fucking YUCK!)... and the other was Octopus! Which was pretty good. Except for the fact it had suckers on it still.
Sake was sipped as well.
-We then headed back over to my place and drank some beers, smoked a joint and watched the puppies play.
Saturday
-Woke up relatively early, considering I didn't work the night before.. and went to Saturday Market with Vanessa, her brother, Mei, Ajilee, her friend, and my bf who met up with us later.
-Drank more beer.. HUGE cups of beer for $5... and watched a Russian magic side street show, as well as people throw cream pies into each others faces.
-I went home for a nap, because I worked later that night at Sassy's... where I managed to drink WAY too much. But it was a good night.
Sunday
-Laziest hungover day ever!!!!!
-Took Vanessa out to dinner at Kalga Cafe with my boy. We split a bottle of wine (how could I resist a little hair of the dog) and ate some amazing food.
-Then later, I took Vanessa to Dante's, where I Go-Go on Sunday's for Sinferno.. and met up with her brother and Mei.
Monday
-Woke up late.
-Took Vanessa to her brother's house so he could later take her to the airport.
-Wrote this blog.
-Now I'm totally going to take a nap.
...but not before I post some pictures I just got back from Hell City ...
