Today marks exactly ONE week before my 23rd birthday. And because the fact that it is my birth week, I refuse under any circumstance to be down or sad. Facts remain facts.. I still need an apartment, I'm going to either lose or quit my job but will find a new one of both of the fore mentioned things. Good things will come up. As one of my buddies pointed out in a comment in my previous blog... I've beaten cervical cancer. Why the fuck would I let this stand in my way?
My Birthday
If you are in Portland, and would like to come celebrate my 23rd birthday with me, I will be at The Grand on Saturday, May 19th at 8:30pm. I think we have the VIP area, so if you'd like to come celebrate, that is where you will find the party.
Some of my very favorite days in Pistolita history revolve around my birthdays. I don't know why, but I usually just end up having a wonderful day. I love having friends celebrate with me. I couldn't care less about presents.. I just want a gathering of friends, some booze, some love and memories made. That means that YOU Silencia, Lyxen, Ajilee , Cymagen and Dewees should be planning on spending Saturday night with me!!! I would love to see you there!

The Coolest Coincidence Ever
The Bled happens to be opening for My Chemical Romance two days after my birthday. Not only do I seriously love the dudes in The Bled, but I also still have a soft spot for MCR. I talked to Darren from TB the other day, and am waiting patiently in hopes that I may be able to go to that show for free and see two bands that I seriously love hard. Not to mention there will be a bad ass after party and there will be birthday drinks!
