Tomorrow's the big day-me & my pally Tori are off to Las Vegas! I was so excited I took today off just to do nothing but soak in the fact that I don't have to be at work until wednesday!! I checked the weather down there & it looks like it will be at least 70 during the day so it's all good! I just hope I don't blind the natives with my whiteness...but anywho-I'm re-reading the Gunslinger series & I'm finally to The Wolves of the Calla & I'm soo bored...WTF was stephen king thinking? It has it's moments but it needs to be a little less western-epic romance & a little more shoot em up, blow em up-keep them doggies rollin rawhide...if you catch my drift. I hate shit that doesn't just get to the point..that's why I love my dvd player-if a movie is taking too long to get to the climax or the punchline or whatever-I just put on the subtitles & fastwforward it at 2x-it's great! I actually watched all of The Underworld this way...except for a few stops to gawk at some hot goth chicks...
so anyways-this is why I think I like vegas so much-it should be called "the city that doesn't fuck around!". No false pretenses, no searching for the good times-it's all there in front of your face...& if you don't like it...go to Millwalkie.
