This has been the most socially productive week I've had since I moved here . I've met a lot of really wonderful new people, and I'm starting to spend more time with people from last semester. I'm not an illness-induced hermit anymore - rock.
There's also a ridiculous number of people I know visiting this weekend - my father, one of my best friends from back home, and a group of people from my senior year lit class who're coming to see the disproportionate number of us AP Lit nerds who ended up in New York.
I'm hoping the trend continues. It's an awesome distraction from the pile of work I'm attempting to finish.
