Ha, I now have a working camera cord, and can finally update.
It's been kind of a strange/good couple of weeks. My best friend from back home came up from D.C. to see me, which was exciting.
See? Exciting. (That's actually a lot more comfortable than it looks.) Yeah... cold rain kind of made it difficult to want to go out and do stuff, but we got to spend a lot of time hanging out. And sleeping like very overgrown kittens.
My tattoo is healing up nicely. The colors in the photo are a little off - the lighting in my dorm is not optimal for photos, and my camera really isn't wonderful.

I saw the SG Burlesque show on Tuesday, and I loved it. It looked like so much fun.
I called Trapeze School of New York. I'm trying to get back into it, after going five years without. I think I'm annoying the crap out of whoever answers the phone - they're deadset on the fact that someone answered my e-mail. Which I'm sure they did, the school e-mail is a bit snarky that way, but I haven't recieved anything either way. Keep your fingers crossed for me, I've got my hopes up.
I'm a little freaked out about how far behind I am in school (with a light course load... first semester... that I've managed to get behind in the first place is kind of impressive). And that everything is breaking or going missing - my mother would say that Mercury is in retrograde.
That and this whole quitting smoking thing. It's going fine, in that I haven't smoked for over two weeks, but cravings don't make me very happy.
Cravings aside, however - I've been very happy overall recently. Things just feel right.
