Oh yeah, girlfriends friends are normally extremely annoying in my experience. With every girlfriend I've ever had, I've hated her friends.

I agree with the "comforting to be with someone you know" philosophy. It's so true!
Of course there is a difference between comfortable and happy. I couldn't get the two straight so I ended up going to extremes. No dating, no sex no nothing until I got control of myself and knew what I really wanted. It sucked at the time but when you take the option of sex out of the picture things can get lot clearer.

I tend to drink my gin with tonic (how old man is that?) but the thing I really like about gin is that you can mix it with just about anything. Gin and pink lemonade is great. Strangely coloured but tasty none the less!
How about you? Any secret gin mixing recipes???
