So the exam results were supposed to be out on Friday, but the Navy in all their wisdom has decided to hold the resutls til possibly this next Friday. I have a sneaking suspicion that they have already been released to the Chiefs. Today I was told that I needed to get all my immunizations courses up to date. I don't know what to think...

Ya know I used to work in the WM 1hr photo lab.
I hate them. They dont give enough hours so they dont have to give out benefits to employees.

If I need something and it's at Wal-Mart, I'll go buy it without feeling guilty. But if I have a choice, I'll usually shop elsewhere. It's not been a big deal for me I must admit.

However, I do find it rather disturbing when on my last visit to the lovey Puerto Vallarta, which still has much of it's small Mexican fishing village charm, to find a brand new Wal-Mart there. frown

So I went to see the movie The Da Vinci Code...
I'm not going to give anything away, but I will say that even having not read the book I found it way too predictable, and pretty much had the whole thing figured out with in the first half of the movie. I think that I would have enjoyed Over the Hedge more biggrin But I'm...

I can't lie. I read the DaVinci Code last winter and truly enjoyed the book. and I'm looking forward to the movie, although I just may wait until it's out on DVD to see it.
fellonearth:
I heard Rod Howard "dud-ed" this one. I'll still see the movie anyways just because I read the book. (Hmm, maybe RPG has a point, it'll probably ge on DVD in a couple of months anyways, and in the cheap theater in about a month $1.75 US!). i'll probably be disappointed. whatever Oh who am I kidding, I'm seeing it tomorrow. I'm weak. tongue

I liked Dan Brown's Angels & Demons better. (More suspense than Da Vinci Code... and it has anti-matter!)

After running various errands around town (something's on its way up to the Great White North) I've decided that its getting too hot to keep doing everything by bike, I think that I'm going to start looking for something to get around on that isn't human powered. I think that I'm going to stick with 2 wheeled transport for now with the way gas prices...
