Well this is it my last entry...

Ok last entry till I get internet access in Okinawa set up where I can access SG without big brother, Uncle Sam or the big blue and gold dildo (green weenie for the Marines out there) watching. I got the news that even though I'm supposed to leave on Saturday I have to be back at lovely Camp Horno at 2200 Friday night so we can fly out sometime around 0900 on Saturday. What a bunch of fuck tards! What the hell am I going to do for 12 hours? I'd much rather spend my last night in the states at home with family instead of waiting around a parking lot.

Right now I'm so tired of everything, there has been WAY too much going on lately between getting the house, moving, unpacking, fixing odd things here and there that needed to be taken care of and now I've got to try and get all my gear together tonight so if I am missing anything I will have a chance to grab it before we go. I know that I'll be able to get most anything I am missing once I'm there but better safe then sorry.

Now with all this fucking around with last minute pre-deployment stuff I'm not getting the time I need to take care of the little odds and ends that keep popping up with the house. There is a million things I wanted to do before I left and now it just looks like there won't be time. <sigh> I guess this means no visit to the Magic Kingdom before I leave. This also means I might not get a chance to properly say goodbye to family since they were informed that I'd be leaving on Saturday morning.

The difficulty of whats going to be coming up is starting to set in and I really don't like the way I feel about a lot of stuff. I am worried about leaving my wife at home for 6+- months to deal with all the stuff that might pop up while I'm away. I'm going to miss our two mutant cat-monkeys growing up and they have just started getting into the stage where they are the most fun to watch play. I'm going to miss out on another years Halloween (my favorite holiday) and our first Christmas in the new house.

I guess this turned into a bit of a rant. I just want to let everyone know that I appreciate all the support you've given both myself and WhiteWidow over the years, she's going to have a particularly difficult time with things I'm sure. She's going to be taking a shit ton of responsibility in a foreign (to her anyways) country. We both said that being military we understood what it was all about and that it wouldn't be all that bad but I think we were wrong. I think that its going to be pretty difficult.

Oh well... I guess I did sign up for it and Friday morning I'm signing up for another 2 years of this crap.
