Talk about a boring Memorial Day weekend, I guess when you're the duty EMT that's not such a big thing and could be a good thing. The highligh of my weekend was sticking a couple sailors with an 18ga needle in order to rehydrate them.
Or maybe it was the fact that I did a couple loads of laundry. 
About the best thing that happened was the guys across from me had a cook out and supplied the grill. I thought that it may be an ideal time to show off my skills at the grill with a couple of pieces of tri-tip that I maranated over night. It turned out awsome, but I was the only neighbor to show up. 
They had invited everyone in the building and I was the only one to show up. Most of everyone else had taken off for the weekend to get the hell out of here, I don't blame them it was over 100 F (or 40 C) all weekend. I can't wait till I have to go run around in the "hot" weather of July at camp Pendleton where it might get up to 85 or so (30?).

Man, that's hot weather. I love hot weather, but even that might be a bit too much for me!
