mad BASTARDS!!! I just made a nice long entry about everything I did over the last few days only to find out that I wasn't logged in, how could I make an entry if I wasn't logged in in the first place???? Sounds like yet another problem with the new format... TECH SUPPORT!!!!

Well I guess I'll try and have to recreate it as best I can so here goes...

biggrin I had a great visit up in Canada, it was way too short and a very very busy visit. The biggest thing, aside from getting to spend time with whitewidow, is that we were able to accomplish some pretty important things, and take care of some of the stuff that had been hanging over both of our heads. We were also able to take care of a few minor nicities that we weren't sure if we would be able to do too. I'm sure that with what we were able to take care of stress levels will have been greatly reduced and now we know that some of the things we feared would cause a snag later down the line have been delt with we can relax a bit.

I also got to meet and hang out with some of whitewidow's extended family from her dance touring days, and I can honestly say that I felt right at home almost immediately. It was almost like meeting up with some of my extended LA family (although most of them are across the country now) and their friends. It was really great to be able to put faces with names, and to hear some stories about some of the crazy times everyone had had over the years. I also got a chance to show off my cooking skills a little bit with a couple salmon steaks we picked up for the cook out we had, someone made short work of whitewidow's piece after she had a couple bites of it. I was impressed that I was able to actually pull it off not knowing what herbs would be available in a kitchen other then my own, and have them turn out perfect. I was hoping for a little rosemary for them but I found out that dill can work with salmon equally as well in a different way. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of them again, even though I know that the next time I won't get as much of a chance to hang out and stuff, but it will still be good times wink

It was also nice to spend some time with my future inlaws, I think that in the last year I may have spent almost as much time with them as my own family! eeek Good thing I get along with all of them great, and feel almost equally at home with them as I would my own family. I know that we'll be making a trip out to see them at least a couple times a year, it will be interesting to see how we will end up working out the logistics of visiting both sides of our families when they're in different countries. Maybe we'll just have to make a trip down to Disneyland with everyone once a year so that no one feels left out. I know that everyone would just hate having to go to the happiest place on earth once a year. tongue One thing I did want to do that I didn't get much of a chance to was to visit more with whitewidow's aunts and uncles. Last year we had a great time during Christmas with them, but I'll be up for it again this year, and some of my family will be too... Should make for some good times, I already know that my side of the family will get along really well with whitewidow's. Our parents seemed too get along pretty well in June so I'm sure that the same will go with the rest of the family. biggrin

Well I've got some wedding stuff to take care of so I'm off, I just figured that an update after my trip would be nice since I've been MIA quite a bit lately.

shocked Hmm, it's been a while since I've Dive Mastered (much less been in the water - over a year now!) To be honest, I'd miss SCUBA diving too, I think I got burned out DMing and working in the dive shop (plus the diving along the coast of So. Cal has been unusually bad for me - poor vis. & spooky divers) Now if I were somewhere a little more warm and clear (and I could afford it), I'd be there... One day...

Anyways, back to business: Fwew! Low key it is then. (That's a lot of pressure off of everyone). I knew you'd say that. Pizza & Beer it is... Ok, maybe something a little more, but I'm not too sure what just (yet). Hmm, maybe you'll be surprised, though you'd probably be happy with just some chopped bait and fremented barley water. biggrin

" So what's this about me being in charge of organizing your bachelor party?"

How is this fair since I am not getting any party of any sorts? blackeyed
