Home again, home again. But alas I have no new stamps in my passport to show for all my travels still. I guess that I'll have to wait till border policies change, or go somewhere that stamps your passport when you enter. I'm sure that Mexico would if I was going to go down past Ensanada, or stay for longer then a few weeks. Customs was a joke, I held out my passport and they asked for another form of ID, so I showed the guy thats part of America's new (insert cheesy superhero music here) Homeland Security Force (farse would be more accurate) I doubt that the guy could tie his own shoes, or hadn't seen his own dick in the last 15 years with out the use of a mirror. So I whipped out my military ID, and that just fixed everything. He didn't even check my customs declaration that I had filled out saying that I had half of DeBeers production for the last 6 months in my bag (I wish). The drive home was pretty wicked, but at least I didn't get rearended on the way home, once in the last week is enough for me thankyou very much. I definatly wouldn't rule out getting one of the new Subaru Legacy's if you're in the market for a new car. This thing got great milage, had plenty of power and a slick sports automatic that made even the most die hard manual transmission guy happy to play with. Top that with 4 door, and all wheel drive that grips the corners of Red Rock Canyon at 110 mph with out even a squeel coming from the tires, not too shabby. I still would like to compare it to either an Audi or a BMW Xi type sedan just to see how it stacks up. I just got a call saying my laptop is finished, and its not going to be as expensive as I thought, 4 hours worth of labor to fix a $3 part at $45 an hour... $180 bucks. The lady didn't even add in the $159 hard drive that I put in to the final cost
They forgot, and I was tempted to not say anything but.... Damn it all to hell I've turned into a tool, and remided them that it wasn't added to the final cost. NO BALLS ANYMORE!!
My fingers are really sore from playing the hell out of my bass last night and then for a bit today at lunch (I was almost late getting back to work) but it's all worth it. I stopped off to pick up some new picks (he-he-he I made a funny) at the as local as it gets to BFE Guitar Center and saw an effects modeler that was on serious mark down and just had to add it to the $4 picks that I needed. I love this thing, it does what 20 effects pedals couldn't do unless you went as far as to string them all together and connect each one in series (that would be a major pain in the ass) I also pretty stoked that it has an audio out line that can be plugged into say my computer so that I can record all the stuff that comes into my head at random when I'm jamming.
Still sitting on some mission essential information, and unless you're part of the mission sorry you're out of the loop.

hope to actually see you next time you are up.
