Not much new around here. The little person comes back in a few hours. I can't wait. It's going to be good to have her home where she belongs. The day she left I gave her one of these kid sized tv dinner looking meals and little person sized utensils. She thought that it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. She had a blast moving the green peas around with her spoon. Then she'd get mad that she couldn't pick them up with her spoon, smash them and use her fingers to get them to her mouth.
I never thought that something so beautiful and special could made from a part of me.
Reading: Hero by John Ringo & John Williamson - A book set in the Posleen-verse that explores the idea of a Darhel having to kill. I suppose you could read it without the preceding books in the series, but you'd lose some of the satisfaction from the premise.
Watching: Gran Torino - Finally got this from netflix. Truly a great film, but the ending lacked a sense of justice to me. If placed in a similar situation I could never embrace Walt's actions as an appropriate resolution. But I understand why he did it.
