The last 2 days I have had CNBC on in the background instead of ESPN.

Both have lots of people arguing with each other.
Neither employ anyone that has a clue as to what they are talking about
Both "break" stories that aren't entirely accurate.
Neither are that much better than watching infomercials although both are more entertaining and topical.
Both make me wonder who the hell I don;t have a job. I can convincingly talk for hours over things I know nothing about. I can argue too!
Neither hire based upon intelligence but rather by looks and volume of voice
Both have cool scrolling things at the bottom and when I am looking for soemthing on the scrolling thing I always miss it by half a second
Neither has given me the knowledge to succeed (in fantasy sports or money).
Both are endlessly mock-able, and I'm sure there are whole blog dedicated out there to mocking CNBC, I already read half of the ones that attack ESPN.

CNBC has so many graphics it feels like I am watching it on HD. It makes MTV seem like it is targetted toward people with a normal attention span.
ESPN has funnier ads.

Oh and if someone were smart, those annoying jesus-rick ads they've been showing on ESPN would start popping up on CNBC. I'm just saying, it might be a good idea.
