Sorry it's been a hectic month. We'll start with a Good News / Bad News.

Bad News: It's raining, and I left my sunroof open.
Good News: The rain had that fSpring Rain smell to it. Spring is finally here. I love that smell.

Have you seen Monopoly the MEGA edition? If not go pick it up. I love it. The changes fit well (for the most part, be flexible with your house rules). It's basically 2 games: 1) aquire properties 2) eliminating opponets. The games rules change big time once all properties are owned, and the games runs faster in the acquisition phase. It's well done go play it.

Meeting with photographer happened today. She was nice and I think she will do the job nicely.

Have I mentioned how awesome our wedding planner is? She's the best. She is so excited about our wedding! That and she;s really nice and easy to work with.

Some CompUSA's are closing. Go get you tech-geek on and see what deals are left.

I recently bought a new USB Wifi adapter (old one is lost), and a 4 port usb splitter for the craptop. Both came with some handydandy USB extention cords. smile

Work is going well. I finally landed a big roll-over and it took nearly 3 weeks to get the friggin money out from it;s old homes and onto the books with my company. Just got about 90% of it in before the end of the month/quarter to max out my bonus (effectively doubling the payout of that case). Joint work 4.5% split in half, not bad for all the chasing around work I had to do once the contract got signed. 2 hardest parts of my job: 1) getting people to sit down with me; 2) getting all this paperwork stuff chased down and in the right places AFTER I convince someone that the plan I've developed is the best solution for them. Yeah the selling is the easy part of my job. Because they train us not to fuck around. I'm in a long-term industry and must treat people with a long time frame in mind. If iwant to keep a client for 20-30 years then I cannot bs them at all up front. It's play fair, play honest, but play hard or go home. It's toughre work than I ever expected, BUT very rewarding and not just $$$-wise. I'm helping people. I protect their interests and their futures. It's serious, serious work, but I do enjoy it.

It comes with some tough moral obligations though. For example, my cousin (2 years younger than me), has a baby girl less than a year old. He knows that he and his wife need to sit down with me, but we haven't schedule a time yet because he won't call me back, (at least one call a week, since november started) Now if something happens who's fault is it if he's not covered properly? Mine. No one in our family will care that he didn;t call me back. They all know what I do, and how important it is, and none of them would accept the excuse of "He wouldn't call me back". Nor would I, if he had my job and it was my sister not calling him back. Making people understand the importance of what I do IS THE FUNDAMENTAL PART of my job. Enough about work.

I love Mylf.

If ohio st wins tomorrow night I finsih second in the sg pool. Not bad. I had wisconsin losing to the buckeyes tomorrow night. They lost in the 2nd round.

Baseball starts today! Go SOX! Go Pip's Bad Ideas!

God I had so much more to say....but oh well that;s my fault for not updating more often. Mylf has the day off tomorrow, she'll enjoy pointing out my typos. Did I mention that I love her?

Oh if you aren't watching Dirty Jobs, you aremissing out. Mike Rowe is awesome!

Edit: Go here now!

It was freezing yesterday! I spent 10 hours in a brick building that didn't have any heat because the landlord thought it was warm enough to turn it off.. Spring has gone MIA the past couple days.

Pull a city out of a hat? With my luck, I'd probably end up in some other crappy city.

Though I suppose I could just put non-crappy cities in the hat....
