The opportunity was there, so I had to take advantage of it. There were people there that I was very glad were, and some people I wish had been able to be there, but the moment was mine to take so I took it. I had something I wanted to say and I said it. I gave her no doubt about how I felt or what I wanted, and that is something she's been waiting for me to do for way to long now. Didn't matter that I didn't have the ring, she knew there was one, heck she helped me pick it out. So I put my love on display for a room full of strangers to see. I embarassed her a bit, but I still live to tell the tale (which shoudl tell you how much she loves me!). I kept the plan to myself, having only two accomplisses at the last moments. I thank gumbercules for his assistance and to the grey boundcreature for telling me to go talk the the DJ! DUH!

So yes Mylf and I will be getting married, and I am the happiest person in the world.

That and my new Manager at work is fucking great. He may be a republican but he's a good guy that knows hows to get things done. He's blunt, and as someone who's blunt I respond well.

So things are GREAT and looking to get even better. My job will provide an opportunity this year to realize some goals that were on the 3-5 year scale only 4 months ago. Now I have to work my ass off to make that happen but it will be so worthwhile if I can do it.
