Funny asss story.

Our new store manager started memorial day weekend. On monday night, during his 3rd shift in our store a couple walks in that is in the store all the time. They are in their mid to late twenties and I've become friendly with them. I did not see him walk in nor see my new boss let him into the fitting room. I just saw her walking around. I decided to be a jerk and introduce the new boss to one of our "regulars". It was funny to me and that's all that mattered. Anyway she's talking to my new boss when her bf walks out of the fitting room, over to me and says, "How's the job search going?" Note we are the only 4 people in the store and the other two CLEARLY heard him. I wanted to fall down laughing! I talk to him for a bit and they leave. I walk over to my boss and say, "Well that's a great way to break the ice on that subject."

I told him how his boss sucks and I back up my claim with a series of stories that can be easily verfied with hard evidence. (repeated payroll issues not resolved) I did not go into any of the big shit that has any level of interpretation. I just pointed out the small problems that weren't addressed to indicate what he has in stoere for himself. Anyway he's ok, well, he barely doesn't suck. Which is a vast improvement from my last 3 store managers. Hopefully though he'll have ZERO assistants during back-to-school. Not because of any hatred toward him but I want my DM to have to deal with a real situation, and face someone that she mislead.

So my job search continues. As of July first i'll focus on Sales jobs and get out by August first. If that means I sell used cars, then so be it.
