Wise was great this year! We got to see tons of kids, we even were able to do 11 kids under general anesthesia @ Norton Community (whose outpatient nurses were so awesome to us! Seymon even stayed 5 hours after her shift ended for us!) Saturday was the longest day because that was the hospital day, we managed to do comprehensive mouth restorations on 11 children in 12 hours on the dot! we were at the hospital at 7am and done at 7:30pm!
we all survived the crazy, bitchy, and questionably skilled "pediatric" dentist that came down from new jersey! let me put it this way, we don't hold children down and we stop if they cry or scream, apparently they do things different in jersey! she also doesn't diagnose too well. she told me 1 little girl only need a cleaning and maybe had some staining on a molar(that the girl was saying was broken!) i could see a huge area of decay on the xray and i can't read them all that well and when dr. wood went to examine her, she about jumped out of the chair when he touched that tooth! and if that wasn't enough, another little boy that this "dr. stacey" saw first and said all he needed was a cleaning, well during the cleaning my friend ally found 2 draining fistulas in his mouth, yeah those come from large areas of infection! let's just hope she doesn't come back next year, and if you live in jersey don't take your kids to see this lady!
i also personally survived going with 2 people, who while good at their professions, have proven to be total cunt bitches to me in real life, and are the biggest reason i quit working for dr. wood.
dr. wood was so great, paid for our rooms, drinks, and meals! had a blast!!!! so here's some pictures! lots of them!
