I say tell them before they find out any other way. They WILL find out and it'll be worse than hearing it from you. I hope you get this worked out. Don't think the worst of your parents. You know, it's during our kid's hard times that parents can really step up and surprise you. (speaking from my experience as a daughter AND as a mom) Good luck.
