I'm seriously bummed that I didn't make it to the tattoo convention in Jax this weekend. I didn't feel safe driving up there with a screw in my tire. Have to get that fixed next week though since I definitely have to be in Auburndale next Saturday for a friends birthday.
I made chicken and dumplings for dinner tonight. For my first shot at making it, it turned out really well, even if the chicken did disintegrate off of the bones, leaving me picking out little rib bones and such.
Which reminds me, I have a bone to pick with Alton Brown--he made cutting up a whole chicken look so easy. HELLO?! It took me a half an hour. I suppose a nice sharp knife would have helped.
Hoping soon to go curl up in bed with my video iPod and the first season of Grey's Anatomy. I am soooo exciting.
