Well, Ernesto proved to be no more than some heavy late night rain and a touch of wind (that was actually cool! hoorah!!) I spent most of the night in bed catching up on season 2 of House.

We're all "hunkered down" for tropical storm Ernesto, which basically means we took the cushions off of the patio chairs and took down the wind chimes. And brought in anything that could become a projectile should we get some freakish wind.

Really though, it just looks like its going to be a typical Florida thunderstorm, just one that lasts a bit longer.

I did some major kick ass cleaning today. There is no longer a huge pile of clothing on the floor at the end of my bed, no more shoe boxes, no more trash. You'd never guess it was my room. Tommorrow I'll dust and vacuum to make it complete.

Well, I kept looking at my room and trying to figure out a way to make a pen for them that would be easy to clean, but couldn't come up with anything, so i dropped the cash on a big cage. They got in and started tearing around and chattering and playing, so I'm pretty sure they approve!
