tonight, i'm going to the como park conservatory for the lighting of the lanterns in the japanese garden. should be good..i've always wanted to go, but haven't. there's going to be food, but they're pretty nonspecific about what KIND of food, so i'm going to have a bit of dinner first. maybe i'll make a little smoked salmon sushi..
last night was a great dinner party in honor of my best friend's birthday..she and i spent all of friday night and all of saturday cooking for it. the menu: parmesan gelato with balsamic glaze; crudites with sundried tomato aioli; roasted beet herb salad with chevre on toast; salmon stuffed with shrimp and porcini mushrooms, all wrapped in puff pastry; and lemon thyme creme brulee for dessert. whew! it was super fun..eleven people ate well. i did all the dishes between courses and was waitron/busperson as well..bastards didn't even tip.
i've been to the studio today, got some good work done..i'm off to update my skectchbook/recordbook/studio scrapbook.

Absolutely !!!!!!! I have seen that movie so many times I could probably re-write the script word for word!!!!!
