Happy solstice, everyone! The longest day of the year always seems to come too early in the warm season..it hardly seems fair that the days will start getting shorter from here on out.

I'm all amped up on too much coffee (seemed like a good idea at the time) and am getting ready to get all mellowed out on beer (seems like a good idea right now). If it weren't windy as all-get-out, I'd be out on the lake in my new kayak...but as it is really windy, and I don't have the boat licensed yet, best to stay on dry land tonight.

I've got some studio projects lined up that I need to delve into..bonsai pots for t.j., a chili-cook-off trophy for keith, a sushi/sake set for tricia..but it seems like such a shame to be indoors when it's so nice out (she types, while sitting indoors at the computer, on such a nice day..)

Now I'm going to go drink with my redneck neighbors. Yet another facet of diversity on my block..
