I got a raise today, both in my wages at work and in my spirits.
This review has been a long time coming (3 years, or so) and it went sooo well I can hardly believe it. The prospect of getting more money seems to have fattened my liking for the job. Also, I learned that I no longer have to perform the crappiest task of all! Instead, I get more accounting duties. If you'd told me five years ago that I would be happy about the chance to work with numbers, I would have entertained you by laughing and snorting. But I like accounting. Who knew?

Tried out a bunch of kayaks this evening. Models by Perception, Dagger, Wilderness Systems, all the biggies..
..and I fell in love. The Wilderness Cape Lookout 155 was made for me. It tracks well, is tippy without being too tippy, can fit lots of gear, and has this seating system that kicks major kayaker ass.
If there were some way I could justify buying this boat, it would be hanging in my garage tomorrow.

You like accounting? Ewwww!!! LOL. j/k. I never thought I liked numbers until I started stock market investing. Then they got reeeeeeeealllly interesting. I haven't done it in awhile, so now I'm completely stupid when it comes to numbers. But, we'll get back at it.
I would love to go kayaking if I could swim and wasn't afraid of the water. ::sigh::
