WHEW! Vegas was AWESOME! I love the sun! It was beautiful the entire time. The Westward Ho is awesome, by the way. Kind of motel-ish, but great deals, good slot machines! My sister came home $900 richer! I never win.....but craps is always fun.
Started at Lane Bryant....worked Mon, Tues....off Wed......decided to quit Thursday.
Yeah. It was ok, and I could probably have a lot of fun working there, but it was the SAME OLD DRAG as Claire's. I needed a CHANGE. And since the factory finally called me back....I started there on Friday. The DSM from Lane Bryant wants to talk to me about why I left (which, I did feel really bad about, but I didn't want to go through the WHOLE training only to quit later on). I wrote letters to the Manager and Assistant thanking them for their time, apologizing for leaving, etc etc.
Factory work----boring. physical. tiring. but not too bad. I can shut off my brain for the most part, day-dream, thing, ponder my life, become a robot, and if I work with good people (like today) I conversate quite a bit about very random things. My friend Sarah who works there--if she works 5 days in a week, her paycheck AFTER taxes is $564. daaaaamn. Sign me up for some overtime, once my muscles can take it!

today really brought it home, i had to deal with alchol + car vs. train "victim" today at work... yikes.
