Mmmm...yeah. I forgot to mention that yesterday I went on a bit of a shopping spree. Not really a spree, but I just spent a lot. After 5 years of slavery for an un-named retail store I work at, employees get a $150 gift certificate to Tiffany and Co. My sister just hit her 5 year mark, so she had a g.c. to spend. I decided to go with her, and even though my 5 year mark will be here on Oct. 31st, I decided to splurge. Spent $325 on a matching necklace, bracelet and earrings. I am such a jewelry junkie, but at least now I own something that's actually quality. I have never owned nice jewelry, unless you consider the stuff my mom used to buy me from Avon to be "nice". Now as long as I don't lose it or break it, I'll be ok.
(side note--the spending whim may have been slightly influenced by snooty sales folk, but it was mostly influenced by my sister who said "If you don't have anything else to spend your $$ on, why not?? If I didn't have to make my house payment I'd buy something else....")

You little spend-thrift, you! Diamonds are a girl's best friend, no?
