Any male types, please feel free to input on this--

I'm in this confused state. It has to do with a long time crush, who I just absolutely adore. I mentioned in a previous journal entry that there is quite an age difference, which really doesn't matter to me (I could only hope that he feels the same). This guy is just the greatest guy-amazing personality. Every time I see him, he gives me these great big hugs, and lately, he's taken to giving me kisses on the cheek. You know I about lose it when he gives me cute little kisses, because I've been crushing on him forever. But if I were to make a move, and he got freaked out, I'd flip! I've tried subtle hints (well, what I think is subtle, because I'm fairly blunt most of the time). I just don't know. I probably shouldn't even be putting all of this out here, but I am. I don't know why. I just need to put it down somewhere! I don't even know if he has a girlfriend....

A quote from my friend sums it up for me-- "I love the falling.....it just sucks to get back up!"

Hmmm....many variables involved here. Is he just as shy as you? If so, perhaps he is interested as well, but cannot bring himself to express his feelings. How often do you see each other? Do the two of you ever engage in any sort of "non-threatening" activites, like going out for coffee, etc?

Yeah, putting yourself "out there" is always kind of terrifying. (Don't I know it!)
