I feel for ya, that sucks. You're not selfish, she is. If she asked about going out and backed out, thats her loss. You should have went anyway and called her from the bar. "I am having a blast, fuck off!" I am friends with my wife so we communicate, tell each other how we feel and go on. Thats what friendship is all about, give and take. Compromise. If she drove here to hang with you, then she should hang with you. If it is an issue with her bf, thats his problem and he needs to get over it. She shouldn't have treated you like a long lost friend. That would make me wander where in her life you fit, and what she has told her bf ! Life is too short to be hung up on friends that put you on the back burner.

thats totally cool! alot of us will be there by the time you get into town, may even be setting up a SG booth at the show cause i think im getting a banner! but ill make sure you have directions to the club...its super easy to find. and yeah, there is gonna be an afterparty...it will get crazy, trust me on that one! maybe you'd like to split costs on a hotel room? trying to get a few SG peeps so its cheap for us all, would that be cool? now you got me all excited since you are coming...im actually anxious to meet you! and dont worry, i dont bite...unless you want me to!

I was sitting on the pool table with my friends. Matt just moved on, has his own band, does acoustic gigs around town during the week. Jimmy King is funny as hell. Matt usually emails us his schedule, as soon as I know it, I will let you know. If he is playing in KY would you come? His band is pretty awesome too. They played J-Hall Friday night. Wifey went down and took pics for the website he is working on.

How serious are they? Did she ask him to go, or is he assuming? Do you get along with him? Have you ever lived with her before? Does she know how you feel? If she is a true friend she will listen to your feelings and digest the information before she does anything. Tell her how you feel, if she doesn't try to understand your point of view, she is selfish and maybe not a true friend at all. Hopefully you guys can work it out.
