"BE NICE, I HAD A DREAM"

Today, I woke up from a dream... refreshed but also disturbed. It was about TRUTH... or the lack their of. Ever wonder why we get such a BIG kick out of kids???? Did you ever stop to think that it's because they say what we can't or wont? (Yeap, thats right, I said it!)
I was really astounded by this notion because I have 5 children of mine own. They which are so innocent, precious, full of the "RAW TRUTH," and LIFE! They will be the center of my story today.
A couple of weeks ago i went to my children's daycare. I went in the 2 and 3 year old room to see 2 of my 5 beautiful angels. There was a worker in their that I, nor the children had ever seen before. At first glance, I thought see may have ate something and had a little something left on her lip. NOPE! Hello Cold-sore! "YUCK", I thought to myself, "Why on earth, heaven, or hell, would they leave this chick with my kids or any kids for that matter"??? I was truly distrubed by that lip but instead of speaking the truth.... I HAD TO BE NICE! It's so funny how things always work themselves out, even when it's not the way we would expect it. So on with my story, All the kids in the room where clinging to me. "Meith Heador, Can i thit wiff ooh"? (in adult language that says "Miss Heather, Can I sit with you")? I said "Sure you can hun"! The next thing I knew I had become the one with ALL the children. She turned to me with that BIG herpes plastered on her lip and said "They really love you and your Great with kids, you should work here"! I smiled and said, "Thanks"! Well wouldn't you know, out of NO WHERE, I hear...... "eeeeeuuuuuuu! Whud is dat ting on er lip"? ( "What is that thing on her lip"?) a little girl SHOUTED! I wanted to BUST out laughing cause she said exactly what I wouldn't! I said "Be NICE sweetie"!
This my question, "What have we been taught, over the ealier years of our lives? What are we teaching our kids and what will they teach THEIR'S"? I woke with this saying on my mind. "The TRUTH shall set you FREE"! and then followed "The Truth as BEAUTIFUL and FREEING as it is, HURTS most of the time"! I was INSPIRED by this but also HURT. The RAW TRUTH, cut me like a knife.... I love the truth!!!!! The little girl had spoken the RAW TRUTH, and I did what I have been taught to do from the time I was her age..... I told her to " BE NICE" (aka) Don't tell the truth, Put on a facade', "LIE DAMN IT LIE", "Oh my God! Did she really just say that, You can't do that! You know...... "Whats RIGHT and TRUE"? (laughing out loud)
Makes you think differently huh???? I challenge you TODAY to KNOW and SPEAK the truth...... "Otherwise, your selling the world a LEMON"!
