I managed to lose 2 lbs this week (my total's now up to 9lbs) even though I didn't/couldn't stick to the diet properly due to being inflected with nasty snot making germies. I bought a pair of trousers in the next size down, hoping to use them as 'goal trousers'. I realised this wouldn't work when I tried them on and they fitted me perfectly. So it'll be the next size down from that, size 18 (UK), that is my next goal.

After rediscovering some of my old notebooks and talking with a friend of mine at work, I've decided to get my writing career somewhere other than trapped in tatty old notebooks. I've started a new blog my blog! where I hope to post something I've written every Thursday. The deadline should give me the kick I need to get writing every day. The more I write the more likely I am to write something good enough to be published. All feedback is welcome, either at the blog itself or on here, just make sure it's all constructive.

I saw Soulfly on Sunday and they were stunningly amazingly epic! It was the first time I saw them play live and I wasn't disappointed. They were on top form and I had great fun giving myself whiplash by head banging too much!

Plans for the weekend: go to Brighton with my Mum and auntie, get Mum to dye my hair purple then rock out to Gaslight Anthem at the Wedge. In a word: Awesome! Toodles, C x
