Usually my new year's resolutions go along the lines of 'must go to more gigs' or 'must not spend all my time playing sims/pokemon/tony hawks'. However this year, I'm going down a different route. I'm actually going to try and lose weight.
I've been chubby but now when I look in the mirror, I get the impression I've gone past the point of chubby into FAT. So instead of sitting on my butt feeling depressed about the whole shenanigans, I'm going to do something about it.
I haven't weighed myself yet and I'm not going to be following any particular diet but I will be cutting out as much bad stuff (which happens to be my favourite stuff!) as I can.
Hope everyone had epic new year's. We had a party at our place that got very messy (it took three large garbage bags to clear up the beer cans alone!) but everyone had an awesome time, which is the main thing.
I've had some good news: my close friends Leanne and Chave will be getting married this year. They went to Paris for New Year's and Chave proposed while they were in Euro Disney. I'm so happy for them!
For whatever reason, Chave decided he was going to work out how long everyone has until they turn 30. I have 546 days to go. When he told me, I said it was 545 days until I get so monumentally wasted I won't even notice I've turned 30.
That's all from me for the time being. Wish me luck in avoiding all the delicious chocolate in the world! Trust me, I'm going to need it! C x
