I went and saw two apartments today. The first one was a Studio in North Hollywood. It looked to be enough space for me. The landlord told me she wanted 1000.00 for security deposit, plus 250.00 for pet deposit, plus 770.00 as first months rent...all together, before I would even move in.

So I said...buh....bye.

Next place I looked at was in Van Nuys. This is also a studio and is being completely 100 percent renovated. I was really impressed with the place and like the idea that they are putting in hardwood flooring. The rent is including utilities and the pet deposit is only 150.00. So hopefully my credit check goes over smoothly because I'd love to live there.

In case anyone doesnt know about this, my car was involved with two hit and runs in one week, both while I was asleep in my apt. The latter of the hit and runs really fucked my shit up. I have been in a rental for almost a month. Between that, living next to the fwy, and having an inconsiderate and sometimes irresponsible pothead roommate, I have decided to move.

So this...is why I am moving.

Now let's hope the other drama (the female kind) that is in my life, will blow over smoothly as well.
